WHAT IS CITYKIDS?
CityKids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we encourage all parents to check their children into one of our environments as our main gathering is designed for adults and students (6th grade and older).
We would love to see you and your family visit CityKids this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
WHAT to expect
FIRST TIME HERE?
Look for the area designated for check in. We will meet your family, check your children into our database system, and one of our volunteers will direct your family to your children's age-appropriate rooms.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
HOW DOES CHECK-IN WORK?
After checking in, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will text or call your phone number that we have on record. Please keep your phone turned on vibrate during the service in case we need to contact you.
OUR Environments
NURSERY
Our Nursery environment was created especially for your infants. We can’t wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for them!
preschool
Our Preschool environment is full of life and color for your young ones. We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. So, you can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience. Be on the lookout for fun crafts and big games. We look forward to helping your preschoolers learn more about God.
Elementary
In our Elementary environment, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care.
In our Elementary environment, our focus is our small group environments. We want kids to see how God's Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
